Teltek is Sweden's only manufacturer of checkweighers for the food industry and has grown since 1984 into an international export company with nearly 30 employees in Örebro. With a unique combination of technical competence and customer focus, Teltek delivers high-performance, modular solutions to markets worldwide.

We develop electronics and software, configure systems, and build complete machines in our own facilities, while production of components is done through selected partners. Approximately 2,000 machines are installed in the field, creating both development opportunities and challenges for product care and innovation.

As a development engineer at Teltek, you will play a central role in the development of advanced machine systems with a focus on electronics and software. The role combines operational work with strategic new development and includes low-level programming (C/C++/Pascal), work with microprocessors, signal handling, and hardware-software interfaces, as well as troubleshooting and further development of existing systems.

You will collaborate closely with mechanical design, production, and service, and take overall responsibility for the functionality and development of the machine systems. The role is suitable for you who want to be self-driven but also value a team that supports and shares knowledge.

The Candidate We Are Looking For

We are looking for a curious and proactive development engineer who enjoys both responsibility and collaboration. You are analytical and have good problem-solving skills, while also being willing to make your own decisions and drive projects forward. You have an interest in electronics and software and want to develop together with colleagues, but can also work independently when the situation requires it.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• at least 3-4 years of experience working with C/C++ or other low-level programming
• experience working with physical systems or machines
• good troubleshooting skills and can read electrical diagrams
• post-secondary technical education, preferably as an engineer with a background in electronics

It is a plus if you have experience in signal processing, software methodology and version control, PCB design, component-level knowledge, and soldering.
